2024-07-15 15:56:45 +0000 UTCThe Munchkin Graveyard gag gave me an extra chuckle when I first saw it. My family lived near the hometown of Baum, whose downtown sidewalks were literally yellow bricked. The town also had an annual Oz festival (not to be confused with Ozzfest, the heavy metal show) and as late as the early 2000s surviving Munchins would attend. My niece (3 or 4 at the time) even rode on the Munchkin parade float dressed as Glenda. As a quick aside, having recently lost out to a role in an audition, the resigned disappointment of Panicky Iddiot Number 1 really hit home for me with my most recent watching.
