Added 2025-07-28 05:49:39 +0000 UTCI haven’t been able to draw a single thing this week because the main pipe in the building where my grandmother lives got blocked.
I’ve spent days dealing with uncooperative neighbors and plumbers who clearly had no idea what they were doing. Every time someone upstairs used their bathroom, water would overflow into my grandmother’s apartment — and yet, none of the neighbors were willing to stop using their bathrooms for even one day to let the repairs happen properly.
The level of indifference was honestly shocking. The access points to the pipes are inside their properties, but they refused to allow entry out of fear that “something might get stolen” or “damaged.” It wasn’t until the issue started affecting them personally that they finally gave access and shared the necessary blueprints to get the job done right.
And the cherry on top?
The whole repair ended up costing around 5,000 soles or 1400 dollars*
Sorry for the long rant i just had to get that off my chest.
