I am beyond excited to share the full spectrum of the news tomorrow, but I can share a few pieces with you lovely patrons, who have been the most supportive and integral part of the journey of this book from the beginning.
So, if you'll allow me a "Paul Revere" moment:
WE HAVE NARRATORS FOR THE AUDIOBOOK!
WE HAVE A PUBLICATION DATE FOR THE AUDIOBOOK!
PRINT COPIES ARE COMING!
The incredibly talented Elena Wolfe and Sean Masters will be bringing Lily and Bel's POV's to life, and the audiobook will arrive on April 1st (No, that's not an April Fools joke). The paperback version of the book will be released in early May. A preorder for the audiobook and paperback are available on Amazon!
Some folks have already noticed the changes made to the book listing and started piecing things together, HOWEVER, this information is currently a Patreon exclusive, and I ask as always that you help keep it that way so that this remains a place for exclusive/early information and sneak peeks (which I'm so excited to share with you!)
I know that many of you wanted ME to do the audiobook, and I ask you to keep an open mind. These are amazing narrators. I heard Lily and Bel in their voices, and I hope you will too.
For those of you who are disappointed by my choice to not narrate, I understand where you are coming from, and I'm happy to explain why I decided on this course of action. If I had done the audiobook, it would have taken three times as long to produce, would have been of significantly lower quality, and likely would not have been available until the end of the year. Self publishing was a grand adventure that taught me a lot about myself and the industry, but it consumed a year of my time in which I got no writing done (as I'm sure you all noticed) and feared for the integrity of my creative spark. If I had done the audiobook it also would have pushed Penny and Greg's book out yet another year.
The full announcements and all the fun details will be out tomorrow and I look forward to sharing the news with everyone then, but until tomorrow, I hope this bit of news is a bit of cheer.
I should probably go eat.

What a fun new way to add to the fan community! :) Can you tell us anything about the audiobook process? Did the audiobook readers watch any of the Hell's Belles videos to pick up a bit of the cadence of how you'd been voicing the characters? (Obviously they're going to have their own voices. This is an 'I'm curious' question, not a demanding type question)

Lily and Bel are your characters and if you felt that someone else narrating them fit the characters, then you absolutely made the best decision. I can’t wait to listen!
