I totally agree with your analysis of top. I compared him alittle to the trajectory of pai from lita- playboy turned nice/great in a few months—difference is with pai we got to see the changes and the effort and the payoff was very evident where as with top it just seemed like he was acting/doing what he thought would get mew back and then when he did get him back- he was still doing weird/stupid things that could damage the relationship while blaming mew for his feelings. I still don’t give him the “props” I’ve seen other people give him for character development- he’s definitely different, but not changed enough in my opinion.
