Kishimoto never wrote her to be a main character despite being on the main team. And yet despite that she re enters the time skip with a better showing than Naruto. She has not high charka amount no elite ninja heritage and she becomes a monster.

We all know this is the first time she’s done anything and would have died 20 times already in this fight if it wasn’t for chio. With that said she’s the only character out of the main three that does have a tailed beast or a hacks kekkei genkai. Like Naruto can just heal any major stab wound in like 5 seconds. So I get why she’s kinda scared all the time. People aren’t just being killed, but getting their bodies stolen and possessed out here. Getting put in shadow realms and shanked millions of times in a second 😆
