Only two episodes and it really develops Kakashi's backstory well while leaving you wondering what's going on with Rin, making Obito an impactful character, and building up the legend of the 4th Hokage. Also one of my favorite recurring themes in Naruto is how every prominent team parallels Team 7. Like Hus said Obito was Naruto, Kakashi was Sasuke, and Rin was Sakura.

2024-10-05 07:51:11 +0000 UTCAyyy my favorite backstory. i know that its hard to remember everything since you guys react to like 4 episodes of naruto a month so i feel like there are some important details to refresh up on. You guys caught on to the most important one where Kakashi told naruto and gang the same thing that obito tells him about "people who break the rules are scum but those who betray their comrades are worse than scum". Understanding that was the one thing that he required for letting the kids graduate. Also, kakashi is always late and making excuses of running into some old lady who needed his help. It is the same excuse Obito used to make. (As you guys already realized, he is visiting obito's grave when he is late). Another thing to consider is when itachi told kakashi about his body not being compatible with the sharingan, and kakashi admitting that it drains too much stamina. There's also the fact that he can't seem to turn it off and instead has to keep that eye closed most the time. Is the eye worth those risks or is it more because it was a gift from obito? Who knows? Just some things to think about. Great reactions as always!
