They showed like a still shot of the lightning raining down on his sky island and mentioned it but that was it.. i wouldve counted Ohara but that was a buster call and not a super natural/ devil fruit related island erasure

That piercing gaze followed by “There was no such country in the first place” is damn near terrifying

And one that yet again harkens back to that motif I mentioned a few eps back, which we keep seeing rehashed in Japanese media time and time again. The imminent devastation of countless innocents. A real “are we the baddies” moment, that. Chills every time

Well I have though that for a little while now. It really seems Jinbei looks soo much up to Luffy that he somehow distances himself from the crew and unlike all the others he doesn't really fit the crew as much :/

There is a theory that something similar happened to another island where Enies Lobby was created (many years ago). It's a giant hole where the water falls down endlessly. And just like Mariejois, it was always sunny.
