With the whole Pell vs Doji situation, if you think about it, Pell was a younger warrior with a Zoan fruit (big durability) while Doji was an older warrior that had let himself go. He was strong but I doubt he was as durable as Pell. While I agree, Pell shouldn’t have survived that blast still, Doji dying to an explosion also makes sense. Especially when you consider what happened with Pedro
