2024-08-08 00:17:39 +0000 UTCIt's actually just lazy animation. In the manga, you see Naruto attacking Kimimaru in huge waves of clones and them all getting stabbed and sliced pretty quickly. But in the anime, they just didn't animate this way. But you are right about the Rasengan though. He's not really skilled enough to pull off all those clones while also doing a bunch of Rasengans at the same time.

When Naruto entered the Nine Tails chakra mode at this point his fighting style gets less refined and more aggressive. Hes also using a mass amount of chakra making these clones and isn’t really high level enough to have them flinging multiple Rasengan out as well.
