Skipping filler in this show means you won’t know who all the seven ninja swordsmen are, you won’t meet all the jinchuriki, you won’t see major character moments like when characters have arcs and develop their own moves for the first time, hell just look at the animation on that Uzumaki (whirlpool) flashback with the rasengan. That alone is reason enough to check them out imo. Then again, it also means you won’t see the scene where Naruto pisses off the roof and Ino stands in it thinking it’s rain. So… sort of a scales of justice situation really, that. Either way… It all starts here

2024-05-27 05:09:09 +0000 UTCGaara definitely is where Sasuke starts to feel insecure about his abilities but it really is the stuff with Itachi that pushes him over the edge. Because in the short time in-between we see Sasuke be fine with giving Naruto the credit, channel those feelings into training, and most importantly be concerned about Naruto's well-being when Itachi came knocking. The whole reason Sasuke wants to be strong is so that he can defeat Itachi but after being thoroughly humiliated and Itachi talking up Naruto before telling him hatred is the only way to level up, it's no wonder why he woke up so mad.

2024-05-27 00:25:57 +0000 UTCSo the filler arc is placed in a really stupid spot. In reality, this is Sasuke waking up right after Tsunade heals him. He’s waking up from the coma that Itachi put him in with the Tsukuyomi(nightmare realm) Which explains why he’s so pissed, and also why he’s directing his anger at Naruto.
