Big mom is currently 68, and God Valley was 38 years ago, so she was 30 during God Valley. She had already popped out 30 kids by this time, and was likely pregnant with twins DURING the God Valley incident as well. So yes, she was definitely getting it in😂😂

I mean, it’s long been established that the technology to erase islands exists like pluton, plus we’ve seen power holders attain similar feats of power, like Law slicing Punk Hazard in half while monologuing, or Doffy nearly razing Dressrossa to the bedrock while doing a million other things. And Sengoku made it very clear that the higher ups wanted that shit erased from the history books for some reason, so much so that Rocks was once the most infamous pirate in the world and now nobody even knows his name. Could be it’s just gone bc… its gone haha Everyone’s been saying they were waiting for these two eps, and they are fantastic for sure, but the ones I’ve been waiting for are just around the bend on the horizon finally…

Age certainly affects people in OP world - there's been numerous instances where older characters admit that they're past their prime, and will continue to state that in the future as well. I'm not arguing by how much it affects BM - but it certainly has some affect nonetheless, as she is older than Kaido. And she had her DF since she was a kid, as in her more prime years, so your argument that DFs enhance her applies to her prior years too, thus is kind of irrelevant. But my argument was that she isn't in full-combat mode all the time, when she was developing herself and making herself an Empress. She is also out of shape, and been showcased to lack stamina - which might've not been a case to such an extent before. And when you hear in what sort of world she lived - among many other notorious pirates, fighting every day, if you contrast that with present-day BM, where she's clumsy and often wheezing after some exertion, not to mention that she leaves a lot of fighting to her crew, it's hard for me to buy that now she's at the best she ever was. Also never stated that BM and Kaido are not close. Emperors are pretty much on top of the verse, even if you include legacy characters. In addition, I think why I also believe that she is past her prime, and to some extent Kaido too (but it's by a little bit), is that their dreams have waned. And willpower is a big component of power in OP verse. BM is very stagnant. And Luffy calls her out, too. They dream of becoming PK, but do very little to push to that point - but moreso BM. So her glory days are kind of over by that point. She just goes with the flow, so to say. Kaido, even if he became alcoholic and a bit depressed for a while, at least found some new dream and aspiration after WB was killed - he wants that world war, to go out in glory, and been amassing an army to do so. And that reset even his dreams for becoming PK, after BM and him reunited. And immediately that Will powers them up. But Kaido in my opinion is the one who pushed for it more. BM's PK goals were on hold - I don't see how she pushed for it for a minute, after she established Totto Land. And her dreams of gathering every race is also stagnant for a minute, or so it appears.

While I personally think that's the case with Kaido - as Kaido at the time would've been young - it's hard for me to believe that this also applies to Big Mom. She's out of shape now, and has sat comfortable about being strong for way too long - that's one of the reasons why she's so clumsy, she's like a champion who sat on her laurels doing bare minimum to keep her title all this time - she's just not sharpened enough combat wise. You think that in her prime age, and being constantly in battles day in and day out (even on the Rocks' ship itself with other comrades), would keep her in peak condition. Maybe her prime was soon after Rocks. But I think that current day BM is worse, not Whitebeard levels of worse as he was ill, but nonetheless worse.

Yall picked up on Luffy and Zoro talking about Blackbeard on Jaya, remember he's the only pirate leader with a jolly roger skull showing 3 skulls, the only other group with more than one skull were the Decalvan brothers who joined Whitebeard and they had 2 skulls reflecting the two brothers. Jolly rogers are the embodiment of their leader as we all know. Blackbeard always described peculiar, ties his beard in "3", carries "3" guns, etc, sometimes his missing tooth is different, sometimes his jewelry is different.
