I do miss them over the top fansub days lol. The special attack name graphics were good shit.

2023-10-15 23:15:29 +0000 UTCNo that's real, there's whole sites where people just upload fansubs with special effects but its up to the viewer to sync those subtitles up to a subtitleless episode with subtitle timing software. Those same people you're talking about that made the steaming Gear 2 subs kept going I don't know how far but I know they had special effects on the subs for every move used in sabaody including a really cool effect when kizaru pulls out the light sword and they even put effects on the subtitles in the OPs.

2023-08-10 08:59:56 +0000 UTCFacts its been so long but I remember a sub where there was a red colour filling up the Gear 2 and there was steam coming from the subtitle. Was I imagining that like 10-15 years ago, or did some subber put in an extra mile of effort lol?
