I didn't notice it on my first watch, but the nut shot requiem does seem to parallel Chrollo's requiem from HxH like Heat mentioned. HxH > "Uvo-san, can you hear us? We are playing a requiem for you." Chainsaw Man > "Himeno... Can you hear this up in heaven? We're playing a requiem for you." Just compare the two scenes (anime or manga) and it's clearly not a stretch to say Chainsaw Man's author is referencing HxH...
