There's a difference between constructive criticism and just complaining for the sake of it. You don't give constructive criticism, you're nothing but negative every time you comment. Then when other people try to have a convo or provide actual feedback, you gloss over it. Paranoise gave some good points concerning that issue and you chose not to read it, then turn yourself into the victim every time by saying "look at the OP fans attacking me" or "fanboys can't handle flaws", then say you're not being a troll. I agree there's flaws in the show (like 99% of other entertainment) and some OP fans can be that way, but def not all. You obnoxiously group all OP fans together. You are too biased to see otherwise, and see things that are not force-fed as mistakes is funny. The logic here isn't twisted. It's straightforward, and if you know the characters of these brothers, how they operate, it fits perfectly. Luffy wasn't in any pain over Sabo not being alive for years now as he already done griefing for him, you are making it out as "twisted", but what is twisted here? " Why would he purposely let his little brother live on with the believe that both of his older brothers are dead?"- you say. For 1, he didn't do nothing on purpose, and this will be yet to be explained. Once Robin came in, at that point she only knew that the crew will meet up after 2 years at one place, she didn't know where Luffy is. And since her and everyone joining up, only days passed - oh the horror of Luffy not knowing, how could Sabo selfishly want to make Robin not tell Luffy, when he'll be able to do a suprise himself soon after?? It's simple, he just did, it's not a big deal, and Robin honored his wish. Him being in a dark for a few days extra, is not some torture, get over yourself. Stories are meant to be immersed into, and Oda thinks about One Piece every single day of his waking life. To even remotely believe that he made such a "mistake", making it out as something "Oda forgot", is funny, he's not as stupid as you. But more than that, your hatred at people who immerse themselves and enjoy the story, is what's sad. That hatred just reflects on you, and shows us your bias, so there's no point in trying to change your mind, as it will always be set. Continue to cope yourself and stay mad at people who can follow the story and don't need to be forced fed every single detail.

There were plenty of opportunities for Robin to tell Luffy. Oda's nut huggers really need to face reality instead of his nuts. There was plenty of time when the strawhats made their way to fishman island. They even got bored and started fishing for food, remember? And why would Sabo tell Robin to not say anything? Actually seems a very reasonable explanation! I’m sure Robin would’ve definitely told Luffy about Sabo no matter what, given how important of a person he is to Luffy. The only reason I can see Robin holding her tongue is on Sabo’s insistence that he will himself reveal his existence to Luffy!

I’m pretty sure you’re right. IIRC, he only talked about being a pirate in the context of the on-going ASL feud of who would be captain and calling the results of his and Ace’s thuggery the “pirate fund.” We only got a glimpse of what his real dream was when he talked about being free and writing a book, like you said. Pretty sure being a pirate just seemed like the best means to that end. Esp for a kid whose brothers were hype af to be pirates.

Also at what point in the story would Robin mention Sabo to Luffy? The moment Luffy gets back on the Sunny from Reyleigh's training so many things happen that there really isn't any rest time. There's always something happening that there isn't a right time to bring it up.

Easy explanation that a lot of people seem to overlook: Sabo simply told Robin not to say anything. He wanted to meet Luffy on his terms. Or if we just look at it from a basic storytelling standpoint: It’s much more impactful for Sabo to tell Luffy himself that’s he’s alive. Imagine a story in which Robin meets up with Luffy after the time-skip and says “Hey btw your brother is alive.” That would have been a lame ass reveal lol. For Luffy and for us as the readers.

Yeah, get used to characters not talking to each other about potential or vital information.
