Mihawk got to test Luffy's fate and cross swords with a worthy opponent. Doflamingo wanted to take in the chaos. Moria wanted to collect bodies and watch Whitebeard get jumped, Hancock wanted to watch over Luffy, and Blackbeard wanted to collect villains that were almost literally buried under max security for life.
