Yea, I get how Onyonkopon feels. From his perspective he's back to where he started only worse. Now everyone he ever cared about is dead, everyone he ever loved, laughed with or played ball with as kid: dead. His culture destroyed and forever lost. Floch said pride is not worth a damn thing and asked what was wrong with submitting rather than die like a dog. From my understanding his homeland had been conquered by Marley much like the European powers colonized Africa but even when those african countries were under European rule they still had a chance to fight and regain their independence (and they did) much like Ony's homeland could have done while under Marley's thumb. So from his perspective it would have been better to stay loyal to Marley biding his time and have a fighting chance for independence rather than align himself with the people that ended his entire people. 90% of people would never be able to forgive them or themselves. But then again maybe it would be better to do as Keith said, play the game, rise in ranks and act when the time does comes. That being said, I'm pretty sure if Marley had won or the alliance had won. Marley would have tried to take control of both the founding and a person of royal lineage under the guise of it being safer in their hands, and maybe it would have been now that Magath is supreme leader or whatever he is but someone later down the line would have activated the rumbling to wipe out a country that's getting to strong or trying to gain its independence. Lose-Lose situation really.
