I'm glad you enjoyed tho, the studio didn't slack one bit, every scene was fire pun intended. I'm still really impressed that Demon Slayer did so well that they just decided to do a whole quick little arc in movie form and it worked perfectly. The hype for the next season is insane. It's crazy how you can find yourself liking Akaza even tho he's the ops, even with everything that happens. It's an amazing fight but his perspective on it, wanting to recruit Rengoku so badly and staying there until it was even too dangerous for himself? He was nothing but genuine about his intentions and I kinda respect that lol. Rengoku is just a legend tho, man. One of the realest. You get so attached to him so quickly as well.

He let him damage him on purpose to keep healing himself and further try to convince rengoku to become a demon. If he was going all out, the fight wouldnโt have lasted long. Rengoku is goated though.

If you are fast enough to move your whole body over there it should be easy to smack that thing out of his hand with your blade or just grab his arm etc. there is like a dozen easier ways than dashing right in front of it.
