2023-05-28 14:59:17 +0000 UTCAnimation quality changes a lot within a studio in Japan because talent is mostly contacted. So a good key animator may get pulled in for an episode or so. Also a big part of it is who the chief animator/director is for that episode. Their style and corrections set the tone for the whole team. And yes, one piece is 20+ years old tech/talent got better over time.
