I think if they want to watch filler that's fine. One Piece filler isn't that bad anyway(aside from reminder flashback episodes). These guys make every episode entertaining anyway so it's up to them. The more episodes they react to the more content we get and One Piece isn't gonna disappear anytime soon. Enjoy the little detours.

G8 is great, I was part of the push to get Double Dragon to react to it. They misunderstood why people wanted them to watch it though, so they ended up a bit disappointed. Let me be clear: G8 is a filler arc, there will be no huge plot moments or reveals. It's gonna be just good clean fun with the Strawhats bouncing off each other and other characters.

I love how all the strawhats have been struck by literal lightening, some multiple times, and are back on their feet again. Meanwhile, Chopper got hit by the cloud sword and the iron ordeal like 100 episodes ago and is still peacefully napping. 🤣💀
