When he said he’s a human curse, he was saying he was created by the negative feelings people have towards other people. The 3 curses they showed were curses created by people’s fear of Earth (Jogo), the forest (that curse that saved Jogo), and the ocean (the squid looking one we saw in the ocean a few episodes ago). That’s what I got from what he said.

Edit: Also, we got an example of the "people's shared fears manifesting into a curse/ghost/spirit" back in Mob Psycho, if y'all remember that episode when Mob and Reigen went to another city and dimple ended up fighting that grudge looking spirit in that swamp/forest.
