It's not really all that big a deal. Saying stuff like that doesn't reveal any information about who they are or what they do.

Ya'll are accidentally throwing spoilers with this "world's strongest man was a mistranslation thing" (even though it wasn't), but I get that it's coming from a good place. Try to let Heat and Hus continue to speculate. Don't answer it for them (although I accidentally did that in an earlier episode).
Edit: the youtube comments for this ep are gonna be saying the same ish so I hope someone can keep the record straight there. I hate tall tales.
Because Zoro says "Sekai saikyou otoko" - "World's strongest man". Like I said elsewhere, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be ambiguous for now the whole "world's strongest MAN" vs. "world's strongest swordsman", and going into why would be spoiler territory.

Facts about Mihawk being the strongest swordsman, not the 'man', but man I love you guys noting how he switched gears from calling him weak to strong after he proved himself with his ambitions. Zoro is the realest out here and it only gets proven time and time again from this moment on. As well as Luffy and Zoro understanding one another with the least amount of words. Day 1 with them.
Also ya'll foolish for the Zoolander clip but it was facts, lmao.

Yeah for some reason some subs of this translate Mihawk's introduction to "the worlds strongest man" but it is actually "the world strongest swordsman". Also Zoro one of the dopest characters not just in One Piece but all of anime!

I don't think it's really a mis-translation. It's supposed to be ambiguous for now, and going into why would be spoiler territory. But I could be wrong

Quick correction homies. That translation about Mihawk being the strongest "man" in the world was wrong. It was supposed to say strongest "swordsman". The world strongest man is ..someone else, lol. Awesome reaction as always fellas!

There's a movie involving this episode of Zoro vs Mihawk, there's about 4 movies reccaping the first hundred episodes or so from memory.
Pretty much retelling the story with animation not from 20 odd years ago, because you can tell it's really aged. Don't check them out now, can't remember if it spoils anything or not - but in your own time you can skim through them if you like.

Found a 3 minute clip of the fight. The video has no spoilers but YouTube can reccomends videos with spoilers as titles/thumbnails etc. so click at your own risk.
