Hi, I don't want to sound like too much of a snob, but I've read 1000+ manga (and that was years ago so my word probably carries at least a tiny bit of weight. 1. Gintama (try it out for a few months, if it doesn't catch traction you could drop it after the first cour(13 eps)/season. Quite long but only half as long as One Piece. It's my favorite manga, anime is great, (like ten entries in the top 20 of MyAnimeList if that counts), amazing story and concepts in a perfect blend you'll NEVER see anywhere else. Its gag episodes made me not enjoy Champloo at all just because of how much better they were, no offense intended. Start from episode 3. Pacing improves at episode 20 I believe but it should be fine up to then as well. 2. 3-Gatsu no Lion - Not 100% sure if this is up your (or your fanbase's) alley, it has no fighting or action but I'd wager that you would enjoy it, it's a slice of life drama about a professional Shogi player who's struggling through depression. 3. Durarara - This is a 100% safe choice, it will be enjoyed by everyone. Thriller with many fun characters. 4. Neon Genesis Evangelion - you could say 'fuck it' and react to NGE, I find it a bit overrated but it's a classic for a reason. 5. Bakuman - Fun look at the world of manga that feels like "action/battle" Beastars is also cool. Finally DON'T react to One Piece, I seriously don't think it will help viewer count wise or anything, you may get a good boost in the first 300-400 episodes but after that you'll be obligated to tank it out and I'm pretty sure there are diminishing rewards. --- If it was being deleted for a reason please let me know if I said some taboos or something
