I'm pretty sure Rem was focused on the leader and didn't notice she was about to get jumped you can be awesome but if you get sideswiped when you ain't expecting it then held down like Subaru was you can get bodied real quick unless you have a rem to back you up also I'm pretty sure she's susceptible to curses don't know if it's just the leader or all the mabeasts that are capable of cursing but she already died once from a curse
