The jewel on Sensui's forehead is just a bindi. They're commonly worn by Hindu people. One of the meanings behind them is that all people have a hidden third eye which remains closed. The third eye is said to keep one's thoughts centered on the spiritual rather than the material. Also, it's an interesting dichotomy between the two major villains in that Toguro abandoned his martial arts in favor of 100% power, while Sensui is styling on Yusuke with pure technique and kicking him all over the neighborhood with noticeably better skill.

Would love to see your reactions towards current HxH and the sheer amount of condensed material presented but, it's more likely that the current HxH arc finishes in the 2030s than the 2020s even though Togashi is attempting the most ambiguous and atypical arc in WSJ (weekly shounen jump history)
