He did not account for the fact that the main reason Gon is still alive is because of his friends, many of whom saved his life along the way.

(As we know, Kurapika and Killua have no stars). Togashi breaks it down in his notes. Basically you have to lead multiple impactful projects and train multiple other Hunters with their Nen (something Bisky, Morel, Knov, and Ging did)

I should also point out that half of the Zodiacs are 3-Star hunters, the other half are Double star hunters. And that each one of the Zodiacs trained with Netero before. So they got the sauce.

2018-11-17 10:26:54 +0000 UTCFrom here on out, every side character we met since the beginning of the series is involved in the plot somehow. Its really a great feeling seeing all the old characters come back too - Leorio, Kura, Kurapika's Nen teacher, Hanzo, Bacho, Melody, Satotz, etc.
