Here another update:
Regarding our latest video, the one about Flurry Heart, something annoying happened...
A YouTube employee manually changed the video's setting to "directed to children", which deactivates all comments and video links, severly reduces ad-revenue and prevents the algorithm from promoting the video to a wider audience.
We appealed to that decision, but the appeal was declined. I reached out to the YouTube support, but it doesn't look like it'll change anything.
That it happened to this one video isn't a big deal on itself, but we really hope that it doesn't happen with our future content 🙁
We will try to make it more clear in our videos from now on that they are not specifically for children.
This should be the case for our next video, the animation about MLP G5. It is a bit more satirical and "adult-ish".
