River City Girls - Misako
Added 2022-06-04 14:01:02 +0000 UTCI find myself inspired by video games, and much like Resident Evil, and Persona 5 inspired me, so too, did River City Girls. Similar to Persona 5, I had played the original game way back in my childhood never knowing that the fond River City Ransom had in fact gone on to become a series. It wasn't until this delightful brawler starring the the girlfriends of the tough guys from the original game did I learn any of this.
Suffice to say, I loved the nostalgic throwback to a childhood game, with all the benefits of modern tech and advancements. The character, Misako inspired me to create an homage, and sure enough, the delightfully devilish Riko (of Emily Lockwood fame) seemed just right for this cosplay series.
