Her innate draw toward magic had led her to search out an ancient artifact located deep beneath the Museum of Natural History. The relic contained untold power and the Guardian knew that she must keep it from the hands of those who worship the Eldritch.
The young girl from Ravenport had made contact with a renowned reporter, Dawn Meadows and anxiously awaited their meeting deep within the Caverns. But the girl was not alone. Down in the dark others lurked. Those who watched over the power. They despised it. They coveted power. They hungered for it.
And thus not for the first time did Chelsea's plans go astray. Before she could keep her fated meeting with the famous Dawn Meadows, fate had other plans.
Ravenport's pluckiest and bravest magical girl stood cinched up tight and captured, and insisted guest of those that dwelled in the dark. Out of the corner of her eye, she spied an overly large stone cauldron. The contents were an assault on the senses.
"Goodness! I hope they don't expect me to stick around for dinner. I don't think I could stomach that!" she thought to herself with a wrinkled nose.
