She had considered the impracticality of her outfit prior to embarking, but as the sun set and the cool Autumn wind wisped across her bare midriff, she could not suppress a shiver (not the least of which was because this place gave her the creeps!). I never thought I'd be so glad for the meager warmth afforded by a pair of tights! Thought Amanda with a self deprecating chuckle. Even still, the staple feminine garment still left her with a vulnerable feeling.
Shaking her head, at her scattered thoughts, she shone her flashlights around the crumbling stone of the castle. According to my research, the smugglers used this place as their hideout.
