Her short purple dress was bunched up near her hips, offering only the barest of modesty. Her chaste pink pantyhose were pinched, pulled, and impractical with the incompatible rune stone floor. Even if somehow she miraculously survived this perilous adventure, her pink tights were spent. They had a date with a bathroom trash can where all pantyhose go to die. Now if only Daphne could make it home to peel off these pesky perishable pinks and soak in a well earned warm bath to sigh away a tough mystery!
Small breaths passed from her parted lips as her drifting mind dreamed of soaking in the tub. It was a pleasant dream that elicited a sigh of relief. Little did she know that the denizens of the cave crouched just outside the light of the flickering flames that illuminated her slumbering body.
