Added 2021-06-09 21:00:03 +0000 UTC"H-h-hhey w-w-wwai---!!!" Daphne barely gasped the exclamation as her lavender eyes crossed toward each other, looking down, seeing the green scaly flesh of a horrifying arm reach around her shoulders and pull in tight against her slender neck.
"Nnngggghhhnnnaammmmnnnn" a choked garble was all that the redheaded sleuth could muster, spittling through her gasping pink lips. The thing's arm coiled, flexing inhuman muscles tight against her green scarf causing her to seize. Daphne reached her slender hand up to pull at the arm strangling her. Her playfully pink painted fingernails pulled and scratched at the wet scaly flesh of the monster choking her. She could not create a gap for her strained delicate neck.
Precision gave way to frantic-ness. Still balanced on the reinforced toes of her orchid tights, Daphne's stocking feet began slipping and sliding as animalistic tendencies took over from her clouding brain. The smooth silky nylon mixed with the slick sheen of panic induced survival sweat forming on her feet created a cocktail of exhaustive uselessness. For all her twisting and contorting, she did not free herself. But she did manage to force the hem of her short purple dress up toward her hips, exposing the control support and gusset of her lavender hosiery. And her struggles burned up the precious oxygen that her brain had been squirreling away, that was increasingly in short supply.
An impossibly nightmarish large hand with viciously wicked long nails closed down over the top of her head, threading bony fingers through her red silky hair, knocking her iconic purple headband out of place in an effort to hold her thrashing head in place. Daphne saw white spots forming in front of her crossed eyes as the lids began to droop. Her tongue felt thick, dry, too large for her mouth. She reached out for help into the darkness beyond the light of the candles, the tiny audience of flickering silent observers.
