And when the moment is right, when the sunlight is cutting through the budding leaves in fantasy tinged beams, when all the sounds of nature seem to center on your quiet. And you just exist for that moment of time, when for a moment, even if it is just that moment, your life simply feels right. You feel peace, contentment, understanding, acceptance, forgiveness, and the overwhelming grace of serenity.
The moment may be fleeting, and it may feel as though you are waking from a dream. Perhaps it is a jogger trotting by, or a cyclist passing with the buzzing rotation of their tires, or maybe it's just the sound of another human being on their cell phone pulling you back to the confined structure of reality.
With a sigh, you resign yourself to returning to the responsibilities of your day, but don't forget, the moment existed, you experienced it, and fleeting as it may have been, it reminded you of the gift of being alive.
