The intrepid reporter has failed so many times that... many times, you ask yourself... what happens next? Well... this might just be one of those times.
And in those times, when a girl is asked "May I have this dance?" ...she might not have a say in the matter!
---this series is most specifically inspired by a specific game over in an old and relatively unknown PC adventure game called: Heart of China (1991) in which the heroine can lose at a gambling sequence in a marketplace and unwittingly is forced to pay her debt with herself! I never played the actual game, but thanks to the beauty of Youtube, I have watched the game over vids many, many, many times lol. In general that theme always struck a chord with me from a foolish heroine and peril sense, hence, this series. Hope you enjoy!
