The intoxication of curiosity makes it impossible to resist tugging upon a found mysterious thread of yarn. Dawn Meadows knew that she had to plunge headfirst into her investigation.
But she was aware that she was far from home, and the dangers here could be more exotic and perilous. Her girl detective nature tugged her forward, but the reinforced toes on her stocking feet stopped just short of the tuft of grass on the floor.
With a shivering look at the piles of bones littering the hallways she could not help fearing that she might be joining them sooner rather than later if she were not careful.
"Better to jump" she murmured to herself. A sly grin creased her lips as she felt a sense of pride that she was so sensible. After all, people had been telling her for years how foolish and naive she was. Not today! She thought proudly.
Backing up, she decided it best to get a running head start. And with a deep breath, she pumped forward and just before she reached the patch of grass on the floor, she lept! Dawn Meadows soared through the air, cycling her long and slender stocking bearing legs in a circular motion.
Please. Please. Please. Come on, come on, come on! Dawn's thoughts raced with the adrenaline coursing through her veins as she felt the humid Temple streaming through her hair as it floated behind her like a silky golden flag.
