Danger Prone Daphne
Added 2020-12-10 22:00:03 +0000 UTCDoes Daphne Blake really need ANY introduction? She's the original for me. The one. Everything was set into motion being introduced to her on the screen as a kid. There certainly would be no Dawn Meadows had I never discovered the original danger prone damsel.
It was inevitable that I would want to include an homage to my earliest inspiration. So here is to celebrating the sleuth in the purple dress, green scarf, headband, and the most important pair of orchid/pink pantyhose (color debate?) in history. I quite literally owe (blame?) my pantyhose fetish on her.
I hope some of you feel the same, or have your own similar origin stories, and that this can cause you a moment to reflect on that. Enjoy!

Yes, I can only imagine the work that went into that series, with the highly detailed images and the storyline. Great homage to her, she was great sleuthing alone. Although I know it's far fetched but, it would be great if Daphne & Dawn could cross paths someday.....

I have fond memories of her and she was one of my favorite sleuths as a kid. She was attractive and sexy, especially in the way she dressed.. So glad she was an inspiration for the Lovely Dawn Meadows.... :)

In some ways it's even more inspiring to me, because it's like discovering that there are other ways, different ways, newer ways, etc to become introduced to the sky level concept of a damsel in distress.
