Great meeting you comrades over the weekend and thank you for taking the time to chat. I agree that you should def make attending Labor Notes a priority as well! My personal take on DSA Con ‘25 is that it was a rough one for the wing of the org that wants to seize the moment and engage in mass politics by meeting normal working ppl where they’re at. However, we did get some major wins like running a socialist for president in ‘28, as well as some structural reforms that will help democratize the org and build links between locals and national. I am confident that we can keep organizing locally to keep the party moving forward, such as the Kelsea Bond campaign you mentioned! We still have a lot more GroundWork to do, but I still believe in DSA as the vehicle for change that we need! Join DSA today if you haven’t already!
