Settled in to watch the ballgame, James reclines in his favorite chair, TV remote in hand while he sips on a seven and seven. As far as he knows, he has the house to himself, Ann having taken the boys out shopping and Kim away on some super secret spy mission. The first inning passes into the second, but something nagging in the back of his mind keeps him distracted from the game.
He's forgotten something...something significant. But what?
A pop fly into center field and James snaps back to the game, watching as the fielder sprints toward the warning track...right up until a sound behind him grabs his attention. The click, click, click of high heels on tile...
