Getting Peter to quit polishing his boat and actually take his son out for a day on the water was the easy part. As much as she doesn't mind a Goof or two stopping by for a mid-day roll in the sheets, getting her husband to drag along Max and Goofy took a little more effort. Promises of a six-pack of beer and pizza upon his return were made. By comparison, getting Pete's folks to watch Pistol for the day took no effort at all...Pistol loves her some Grandma and Grandpa.
It's an even rarer day when she has absolutely nothing to do. There are no mountains of clothes to fold, no single dirty dish in the sink to be washed, and no dust bunny needing vacuuming. What with her real estate business taking off and leaving her with little time for household chores, it took a bit more than promises of pizza and beer to convince Peter to hire a maid.
Peg opts to lounge about the house leisurely, taking a midday nap on the living room couch or eating bonbons while watching television in her room. Occasionally she'll direct her new maid to do this or that...and much to her new servant's chagrin, the woman of the house does all of the above while lounging about while wearing next to nothing. It's humiliating enough that Lisa...off from college on her summer break...has to work while her friends are out frolicking at the beach, but the only decent job she could find was as a housekeeper. The humiliation is only compounded by the fact that she has to work for the mother of the very dweeb she goes to school with...
