Safe Word - Part 2 - Preview

Neither of them seem to be in any particular hurry to get to work, Ann’s first procedure not being until mid-afternoon and James…well, rocket science isn’t exactly a rush job. That being said, the two of them look rather tired, having not gotten a decent amount of sleep the night before.
James: I had the weirdest dream last night. We sat around nude, drinking hot chocolate while we watched those gawd-awful Dakota Johnson movies.
In mid-sip, Ann abruptly coughs into her coffee mug, nearly choking on the lukewarm brew. James looks over his newspaper with a raised eyebrow, a little taken aback by her reaction…Ann chuckles and coughs at the same time as she sets her cup down. Just as he opens his mouth to ask if she’s alright, the two turn their heads toward the hallway entrance and the distinct sound of a woman’s feet padding down the back staircase.
A very un-villain-like Shego, looking as if she’d just come home from a night of clubbing, strides through the doorway. In her stocking feet and a little black dress, the raven-haired woman pauses to put on her stiletto heels.
Shego: Good morning, parental units. Hope we didn’t keep y’all up all night.
