For reasons beyond my control, there will not be a piece posted today. My internet went out some time late last night with only the generic “there is an outage reported in your area” explanation coming from my provider, also giving no ETA for restoration of services. What with no recent storms, the bill paid, and the start of hurricane season being months away, the most likely scenario is that some drunken moron augured his bro-dozer through a utility box in the middle of the night. That I'm aware of, no bus load of nuns and orphans were harmed during said (hypothetical) dozer-ing.
At any rate, I will try to push today's usual post to Saturday…if not, then Monday, as per usual.
