This volume, we get more backstory on Kurosawa's perspective and the mangaka makes all real life partners fail forever against how romantic and kind and adorable he is! *sighs whimsically* Meanwhile, we FINALLY get back to Tsuge and Minato's storyline as some subtle changes work so well in the manga! I loved this one and I hope you all do, too!

Thank you so much for the comment and the kind words! This volume was adorable!! I love that Kurosawa's friends are featured in this and yes, Tsuge and Minato were a long time coming in this! And yessssss, the manufactured masculinity (or "lack there of") as a scapegoat for the bullying and negativity towards Kurosawa - at least Adachi doesn't pressure him to be like that at all! I'm so excited for the next volume, too!! :D

And glad Tsuge and Minato got their time to shine! Loved the discussion around performing masculinity and how the volume brought out examples of this in tiny ways β the small details Kurosawa preferred over what he ended up doing and the darkness in the background of those panels. Also, the ridiculousness of claiming Kurosawa had long hair! Such a great example of how so much of this nonsense is manufactured for the purposes of wrong-footing someone and getting a chance to exert control. Looking forward to the next volume! π
