Third Person POV
New Word.

...
The explosion created chaos throughout the sea at that moment as the ships stopped in the water, watching the enormous wave forming.
âThis is bad...â Kizaru couldn't help but comment as he saw the situation worsening on their side.
âThis is so huge!!â Lucy couldn't hold back her exclamation upon seeing such a giant wave.
âVivi...â Nami murmured.
âYes... we must.â Vivi replied.
As the wave approached them, the two girls flew towards the sea, facing the enormous wave as they used their powers to summon winds from their hands shaped like whirlwinds, which immediately clashed with the tsunami, halting it in the next moment.
âThis side is done.â Nami wiped some sweat off her brow.
âAs for the other sides...â Vivi said, after all, the tsunami was starting in the open sea. At that moment, they saw figures rushing towards the waves, attacking them from all sides. Flames, which appeared to be Luffyâs, erupted from one of them as he began to explode each of the waves into pure vapor, preventing the waters from reaching other islands and causing chaos.
The Marines stopped fighting against the Straw Hats at that moment as they watched the two people finish dealing with the waves before returning to them.
Luffy and Garp were not in a good state, their clothes torn, leaving only their pants, and they were bruised, appearing to have been burned.
âBuahahahahaha!â Garp appeared, laughing as he landed on one of the Marine ships, with everyone watching him cautiously.
Luffy also landed on the Black Pearl as his sister canceled her transformation and walked over to him with the others.
âWell... looks like that punch from Gramps is no joke...â Luffy scratched his head.
âWhat was that, Luffy? Didnât you go a bit overboard with that?â Vivi couldnât help but murmur to him.
âItâs true... it was a bit overboard, but it doesnât matter now... anyway.â Luffy turned to face the Marines as his grandfather continued to laugh. âLetâs start negotiating with the Marines about the hostages.â
Luffy and Garp had created such a large hole in the sea that even by flying in the opposite direction, they couldn't reach the wall of water. They ended up sharing a look of understanding the situationâthey couldn't fight, and instead, they joined forces to stop the wave so that no one would be harmed. In the end, they decided to cease the initial battle, and Luffy couldnât help but feel proud seeing his attack equal that of the legendary Marine hero.
âLuffy!!â Garp finally called out, and Luffy turned to face him. âReturn the Marine members you captured, now!!â he exclaimed.
âDonât be foolish, Gramps. I wonât return them just because you want me to... letâs negotiate.â Luffy crossed his arms.
âFine...â Garp began cleaning his nose as he walked back to stand next to Kizaru. âYouâre the one leading this negotiation. Good luck. Buahahahahaha!â Garp started laughing while the Admiral sighed.
âAlright... tell me what you want, Monkey D. Luffy.â Kizaru stepped forward this time, taking a step ahead of Garp.
âKizaru, itâs been a while... I hope youâre doing well!â Luffy spoke as if he were meeting an old friend since he held no grudge against Kizaru. Along with Kuzan, they were the Admirals who hadnât angered him to the point of trying to kill them.
âWell... you canât speak like that with me, weâre enemies.â Kizaru murmured softly, but Luffy was paying attention to the other members behind him.
âSmoker! Gion... Hahaha, you havenât changed at all. Not you either, Coby; I hope youâve gotten stronger.â Luffy greeted everyone. Some looked at him confused, others with serious eyes, while Gion didnât seem to have a favorable expression toward Luffy.
âAnyway.â Luffy turned back to Kizaru. âIâll release Sengoku if the government doesnât interfere in the war against Kaido and Big Mom!â Luffy declared.
âAnd Fujitora?â Kizaru asked.
âHeâll stay imprisoned until further notice; after all, I need to protect my territories, and he will be my hostage so you wonât attack the area. Besides, I want a declaration about this in tomorrowâs newspaper, after all, I donât just trust the governmentâs words, and I want to put its credibility in check. He can chase after me if he wants, but will people trust the government as much after that?â Luffy asked calmly.
Originally, they interfered in the news about Doflamingo being dissociated from the Shichibukai program to help him deal with Luffy and the others, but at the same time, it sowed the seeds of doubt among the people, proving that the government could manipulate information as they saw fit.
âActually... that's exactly what I want...â Luffy hoped the government wouldnât fulfill its part, as he needed the peopleâs trust in them to be a little shaken. This would weaken their foundations enough so that someday he could completely destroy them. After all, he couldnât just be someone who destroys; he needed to show the world why he wanted to destroy the government and how that would impact peopleâs lives in this world. At least in the battle in Wano, they could hold back while he kept Fujitora under custody.
âWell, Iâll have to talk to my superiors about your demands...â Kizaru commented.
âThen feel free... Iâll wait here with my crew.â Luffy turned his back on the Marine ship as everyone watched him walk back to his crew.
Kizaru ended up having to handle two Den Den Mushi while Fleet Admiral Akainu and the Five Elders discussed Luffyâs demands. Akainu didnât like it at all, not hesitating to raise his voice to his superiors. In the end, other members of the Marines saw this, while aboard the ship, Monkey D. Luffy threw a banquet with his crew as they laughed and chatted about everything, showing how shameless the pirate was, behaving like this in front of such a powerful Marine force with complete nonchalance.
âThat damn Luffy!!â Garp said with some frustration, watching Luffy having fun right in front of him, while his subordinates didnât know what to say.
In the end, Kizaru stood up and approached the edge of the ship. âMonkey D. Luffy... The government accepts your demands... You must hand over Sengoku, and weâll seal the pact, but you must release Fujitora after the war...â Kizaru said in a lazy and slow voice.
âWell... looks like everything went well.â Luffy got up with a piece of meat in his mouth, smiling at the admiral. âI accept your conditions. Letâs head to Dressrosa with just one Marine ship following the Black Pearl. You can leave her with your companion.â Luffy said, and Kizaru nodded. Unsurprisingly, it was Garp who was chosen for this, as they made way for the Black Pearl to pass.
âGoodbye.â Luffy gave a small smile to Gion on one of the ships, while the woman seemed very uncomfortable with his interaction with her. The ship with the dog figurehead quickly followed the Black Pearl as they left those waters behind and sailed toward the horizon.
It didnât take long for them to reach the islands surrounding Dressrosa, with some still floating in the sky at a little over 1,000 meters, encircling the area to accommodate all the territories.
âSo, this is the bratâs territory...â Garp couldnât help but cross his arms, looking with some admiration at the scene before him. He had never seen so many islands in one place; not even Big Mom had this. And Luffy had only put the islands there a few hours ago; he hadnât even started organizing them yet, intending to bring more kingdoms here with Bepoâs help.
âIncredible... are they suspended in the air thanks to the power of the Fuwa Fuwa no Mi?â Coby couldnât help but murmur in awe.
âYes... Thatâs why no one could find him this past year... the brat was hiding in the sky the entire time... Buahahaha!â Garp said before starting to laugh.
The Black Pearl finally docked at the port as all the members disembarked, with Nami and Vivi sighing, Lucy and Shirahoshi smiling, while Laboon and Hachi were excited. On the other hand, Two Piece, Karoo, and Megalo still seemed quite frightened by everything that had happened at sea.
âWeâve finally arrived!â Luffy was pleased that the castle was finally ready and his crew was back together.
âLuffy... why is your grandfather here?â Yamato approached Luffy at that moment, carrying Nymeria in her arms.
âWeâre returning a prisoner, so heâs here to escort him.â Luffy shrugged as he approached his daughter, patting her on the head.
âWhere are my great-grandchildren?!â Garpâs voice rang out at that moment as he jumped off the ship, not caring about appearing in enemy territory as long as he could see the next generation of his bloodline.
He finally appeared in front of Luffy and his crew, gathering at the front of the ship as he saw the white-haired girl with red eyes and horns, standing between Luffy and Yamato.
"This is my great-granddaughter!" He approached, still dirty and bruised from the fight, while Luffy just watched as his grandfather picked up his daughter.
Nymeria didnât cry at the sudden grab, even though she was just a baby, but she looked confused at Garp.
"The Marines took Nymeria!!" Lucy exclaimed from the other side, startled and ready to confront her grandfather to rescue her niece.
"Buahahahahaha! Itâs good to see the Monkey family getting bigger... wait... is she the daughter of Kaidoâs daughter?" Garp laughed and looked at Yamato with a furrowed brow. "So sheâs also Kaidoâs granddaughter! What makes me part of that bastardâs family? Luffy, go to Wano and punch him for me, saying Iâm the best grandpa!!" Garp exclaimed.
"..." Luffy didnât know what to say to his grandfatherâs declarations as he saw Garp smiling at Nymeria while lifting her as high as he could. The little girl seemed to enjoy it, making baby sounds.
"Iâve decided!!" He exclaimed while everyone looked at him cautiously. "Iâm going to make her the strongest Marine!!" Garpâs statement made everyone look at him as if he were an idiot, even the members who had come with him on his ship. "Buahahahahaha!"
"You think you can just take my daughter like that, you bastard!" Luffy roared before starting another fight with his grandfather.
The two admirals were in their cells when the door opened, revealing Luffy standing in front of them. "Monkey D. Luffy..." Sengoku murmured through clenched teeth, while Fujitora remained silent.
"Well... Garp is here to pick one of you, and youâll be sent with him, Sengoku," Luffy stated.
"Youâre keeping an admiral...?" Sengoku growled, not pleased with the idea.
"You could say that. Iâm trying to protect my people, and besides, you were the ones who started all this trouble... now Iâm taking measures against it." Luffy spoke in a neutral tone.
"..." No one said anything else.
"Letâs go now; your ship is waiting outside. As for you, Fujitora... weâll talk later. Iâm sure your stay in this kingdom will be quite interesting." Luffy said, while the admiral remained silent once more.
Sengoku stood up, still wearing the Seastone chains, as Luffy locked the cell again. They headed outside towards the port, arriving at the location where Vivi appeared in front of them with a worried look.
"Luffy, you have to stop your grandfather!!" She declared as Luffy turned to see the scene before him. Luna and Autora were having fun, calling Garp 'grandpa,' with Hancock looking worried. On his shoulder, Sinbad clung to his clothes, laughing along with his half-sisters.
"Youâre not babies anymore, how about joining the Marines like your grandpa, huh?" Garp asked with a smile at the older girls, while Sinbad remained stuck there the whole time.
"Yes, Grandpa!!"
"Marines, Grandpa!"
"Mustang."
Luffyâs daughters didnât help with these declarations, meeting their grandfather for the first time and finding him quite amazing, while Sinbad spoke his first word, which was the name of the car Luffy had built for him.
"That damn... wait right here." Luffy was already frustrated with his grandfatherâs boldness in wanting to recruit his children into the Marines, leaving a bewildered Sengoku behind.
