Okay, so the streaming service for this week would not let me watch the Subs, so this is my solo dive into the English dubs -- at least it's worth noting that the English dub can make me cry just as easily!
This OVA was so good - simple, bittersweet, and a complete emotional punch! Also, I review Volume 17, which has a LOT going on with it, too!

I love Natsume just touting around the ever-so-portable Madara - more on that in the movie in a few weeks, right? ;) The dub is SO GOOD but I do love the Sub to pieces - Tanuma and Shigeru's VA's though were a critical hit to the feels! Natsume being "competent and Kind" is such a wonderful thing as well - even characters growing sometimes need a break. Thank you so much for the kind words!

And that we got a dub critical hit! ๐ It is a really excellent cast overall and they absolutely get the vibes of the show. And yes, Ta-nu-ma! Ta-nu-ma! His calming and supportive presence is really well done in the dub. ๐ฅฐ While I love the narrative focus on illustrating Natsumeโs emotional growth and the yokai-of-the-week who help with that type of storytelling, I also really adore getting these types of episodes where Natsume just gets to be competent and kind. Looking forward to next week! ๐
