What a finale! Adachi's journey from a shy, introverted virgin who gains psychic powers to a man with confidence in himself and able to express his love to his crush has been such an adorable and heartwarming journey! And now I'm ready to read the manga, I guess! ^^

Before I begin rambling my head off 😆 I do wanna thank Sunspot, Annie, and behappy for helping us see some extra content AND for moderating for us. I can’t thank them enough! If I could sent sweets their way I would in a heartbeat. 💖 Now, I haven’t been able to catch up lately but this week I caught up with all the discussions and let me tell yall- I loved gushing with you all. I normally play the reactions along lunch or dinner so I may have choked a couple times 😂 So yeah, about this episode! He lost his powers having sleeping with Kurosawa confirmed. 🤭Eeeee- their disheveled bed hair was so cute- *ahem* So I didn’t put two & two together until you mentioned it last time. I was so stuck up on them spending the night together. I’m also there with you about Adachi’s thoughts after realizing he couldn’t hear Kurosawa’s thoughts. So did they go all the way… maybe?? I hope the manga is more umm… clear about what happened that night. *slurpsss Dr. Pepper* HAHA- and we want ALL the details pls. About the transfer. I wasn’t really conflicted since they could keep in touch pretty easily. Long distance isn’t easy for sure I can imagine. My only concern was that they’d be away from each other so long… like over a year would be soul crushing. But thankfully it wasn’t that much time. Love that Adachi went to see Kurosawa in a familiar place. 😉 It was real nice to spend time with Tsuge and Minato and how it’s thanks to Udon that they got together. 🥹 LOVE both couples so much! Anywho- seeing Minato and Rokkaku rekindle their friendship helped me irl. I was able to catch up with them outside of work. Turns out we were both trying to give each other space out of concern we wouldn’t want to interact in the first place. This show left a sweet impact on me. And for that I’m so grateful. Tsuge & Adachi’s friendship I liked a lot too. They could have easily grew distant but they didn’t. You know if they ever did an ova about the time before the events before the show begun I’d be all for it. (Long hair Tsuge maybe? Sign me up!) Thank you annie and behappy for getting this on my radar I should have listened sooner! :3 There’s a lot of beloved characters I grew to care and relate. One of them being Fujisaki ofc. 😆 Honey you are heard! Her noticing the rings and their significance first was funny and adorable. Ugh I wish magenta glasses guy was more involved but it’s okay. We only had so much time… which leads to the whole engagement and marriage we end with. I may or may not have screamed into my pillow LOL. Ughhhh can Kurosawa and Adachi be any more CUTEEE. The little kiss on the rings reminded me of Victor & Yuri too! Glad I wasn’t alone with that haha. (That comment on water brands reminds me I should drink more 😂) The way we blink twice from an office scene into them being married took me aback. So quick and to the chase indeed. I wish we had more time cause when I recomposed myself the end titles was already playing. 😭 Wait just a minute show! Come back plssss. We do get an end credit scene with them welcoming each other back home with a picture of them kissing in their white suits… I love them sooo MUCH. I would love to have a picture frame as well haha. Thank you so much for reactions! It makes my days that much more brighter. ☀️ 🫶🏼 P.S. the shorts were AMAZINGGGG. They definitely a couple tropes and one of them being the body swap was surprisingly sweet as honey. Halloween one was cool… hmm we see Kurosawa in a cop uniform and Adachi in a vamp costume… interesting possible combo HAHA. Wonder where I’ve seen that concept before. Sunspot if you’re reading this ahsnfjfnfjfjf. When you said you could hear Kurosawa say lovey-dovey all day I screamed “YES”- me too omg. Hearing Ryota Suzuki throughout was such a delight. Him, Tsuda, and Tochi (they voice a number of characters including Sugo from PP, Kataoka from Daiya, Nanami from JJK, and so on and so forth. I won’t name characters for Suzuki just yet. 🤭) are some of favorite male va’s ever. Ughhhh their voices are so hunky! 😍 Hopefully we get to hear more of Suzuki in the future. Oh yeah- I finally got my answer this episode. I was wondering what the pairing was named for a while. It’s KuroAda! I’m overjoyed that you’re gonna be covering the manga. ❤️ I don’t think I’ll watch the live action versions tbh so you’re not alone! Again thank you so much reacting to this series. Nice to have seen this with someone who hasn’t seen the show. This was such a blast, definitely looking forward to more BL/GL content in the future as well.

So glad you were finally able to check out this series and had such a great time with it. 🥰 Cherry Magic has a very special place among BL and romance genre works, I feel. To me it is no wonder there are so many different versions. Various things I loved: Love their talk of Kurosawa’s “wild fantasies”… being e.g. some full-coverage, extremely soft and comfortable pyjamas. 🤣 Love Adachi’s interpretation of losing his power, that maybe it was about his state of mind and that he gained enough confidence to no longer need the power. Kusumoto is the best, I definitely want this kind of person on my team 😆 Thank you so much to Anime Annie for the work with the chibi shorts, I’ve been looking forward to them for ages! 🥰 And the wait was well worth it, they were so adorable. Loved: Kurosawa’s legit scream when he hears his name coming out of Adachi’s mouth 🤣 A tiny line but actually so complimentary towards Kurosawa’s character: “both your true feelings and public thoughts are leaking out.” Kurosawa’s inability to not escalate, so when Adachi says ‘I’d like to go see the lights’ (so a walk in the park?), it immediately becomes ‘book a cruise!!’ 😆 Regarding manga reactions: of course, no rush at all; I personally have really enjoyed the full manga read-a-longs as with Trigun - so getting a few years’ worth of Cherry Magic content going forward would be wonderful at whatever pace works. 🥰 But I also would not mind if other versions of reactions/reviews end up happening, so probably not very helpful feedback. 😆 Thank you again for another excellent set of reaction and discussions! 🥰 This has been such a delightful ride. Looking forward to other BL/GL on the channel! 🍒
