Is it weird that it feels like forever ago that there was the cicada invasion?! It feels that way for me - You almost have me sold saying they taste like shrimp though! Hahaha!! And I honestly associate Cicadas with “anime summers” so the atmosphere they create is so good! Ahhh, HAHA, I would…recommend JJK for sure! It’s a Shonen but there’s some really good symbolism that happens in some later volumes, if that helps! And Attack on Titan is one of my favorite series…I won’t spoil anything though but…I actually think you would LOVE AOT based on your comments in other series. The real photos is so interesting! I will talk about it in the upcoming DanDaDan episode, but I’ve seen it in that, Bocchi the Rock - I wonder if it’s a trend in anime right now? It feels like an interesting coincidence if it’s not! And ooohhh Peruvian Chicken sounds amazing! I need to get my brother to come over so I can do another Dungeon Meshi cooking video with him – I’ve been craving it! Apparently they kinda taste like shrimp? I’d try one! The cicada lore you went through was fascinating! It makes a lot of sense the way you explained it. I love cicadas. To me their song fills me with calm. I just wish it wasn’t so bloody hot when they are out! I don’t have a lot to add to your reaction, you were very thorough! I knew you would have a lot to sink your teeth into with this episode! I have never watched JJK. I did read it up to Volume 5 and dropped it. It was getting a bit convoluted for me. 🤷♀️ I also have not read nor watched AOT. Although, I do know about the Hallucigenia, unfortunately… now on every pre-Cambrian video I watch, they mention AOT. I bring this up because I have no idea what you are talking about! Hahahahah! I do love the way this is edited, adding in real photos in with the animation. That marinating chicken! A more traditional Chinese marinade would be: minced garlic, soy sauce, sugar, corn starch and sesame oil. That’s a basic marinade. Well, I managed to drop a recipe in a BL horror reaction!
