Having to wait in between episode 19 and 20 was cruel but the censors are still on vacation as we have been gifted SO MUCH emotion between Zhou Zishu and Wen KeXing...or should we say -- in any case, secrets are coming out, emotions are high, and people are dying left and right! And I am here for ALL. OF. IT.

I can TOTALLY see the extremes with WKX! Yes! I feel for him for going 120% on his emotions all the time - it’s a blessing and a curse! You’re so right about him with love and ZZS as well! The aspect of gratitude, desperation, and caring - they describe him with Long Que in this last episode so well! And for ZZS to want to help him be able to put out those emotions is so great as well and speaks a lot for ZZS. Gentle ZZS is one of my favorite versions of him in this series so far! “So so careful” - YES! And I definitely feel SPOILED by two hugs - what did we do to deserve such treasures!? I think he went a little overboard asking WKX to essentially take on the task of the 4 seasons manor, but I get it. And yes, I am glad that ZZS realized what he did and took a step back to let WKX have his space, the idea that WKX is a waterfall and ZZS is a faucet is not lost on me! Thank you for waiting on the spoiler talk – I can’t wait until we possibly revisit this episode (curiosity is PIQUED) and thank you for the comment and kind words!

2025-06-21 23:53:05 +0000 UTCI just LOVE the black and red aesthetic they both have and the white/black hair - the Changing Ghost WISHES he had such fashion cohesion! 😛 And hahahaha, Yu QuiFeng IS such a “guy” - so normal in comparison. The Ex vibe is so real, though, between them, I agree! I personally view him as an underdog - or dog at least - with how he is around her. Zhao Jing is more the “rat” to me, if anything…or is he a snake? I guess we’ll see! 😛 Seeing WKX not believe he can be with ZZS the way they were before, though, is so sad. I just want to *gently* shake him and let him know that he should just take advantage of this time with ZZS while he still can! And ooohhh, that’s a great connection to queer communities and feelings of regret. Ugh, that is so sad about the ED! I’m rooting for these two so hard! Thank you for the comment and kind words!

2025-06-21 23:42:00 +0000 UTCI like to think of WKX as a man of extremes. When he hates, he really hates. And when he loves, he goes all in. I still remember that first scene with Gao Chong, he was acting super ominous, bringing up his dad and talking in that sarcastic, kinda threatening way. Honestly not the smartest move if he wanted to keep Gao Chong from getting suspicious. But he just couldn’t help it. That hate was eating him up. And when it comes to love, well, we all see how he’s completely unable to hold back around ZZS. He wears his heart on his sleeve even when ZZS was actively pushing him away. I especially love how he acted toward Long Que in this episode, so full of gratitude, so desperate to do something for the person who gave up so much to help his family. That’s why I really love that ZZS gave him his sword. ZZS know WKX needed that, needed to be the ome to help Long Que. ZZS was so gentle with him in this episode, so so careful. It made me want to melt. The show was spoiling us by giving us two hugs. I do think it was a bit selfish of ZZS to immediately suggest WKX rebuild the 4 season manor after he die. But I get it, that place meant everything to him. It held so much pain but also so much love. One of the first real smiles we saw from him in the show was when he took in CL as a disciple. And now that he get WKX back, he wants to do the same thing. Just look at his face in that second hug, so happy and at peace. But then right after when WKX pulls away, ZZS is immediately like “oh crap, maybe I was too quick” and backs off to give him space. I have so much more to say but maybe I need to come back to this episode when more infos are revealed in the future. I really enjoy the reaction, and can't wait for more!!

2025-06-21 01:26:25 +0000 UTCLiu Qianqiao and the Tragicomic Ghost have so much aesthetic cohesion with their red and black robes and their contrasting light and dark hair, they look like they very much belong together. Next to Qianqiao, Yu Qiufeng just looks like some guy. With how they couldn't quite agree on how to move forward and Qianqiao thinking she's in control in this dynamic, it felt very evident that Qianqiao and Qiufeng are exes. Qianqiao left behind her old life to start a new one with the Tragicomic Ghost but now Yu Qiufeng has happened upon her and is trying to get back in her good graces, either like an underdog or a rat depending on the viewers opinion lol Wen Kexing lamenting "it's too late" was so sad! Zhou Zishu had finally started to return his affections and wants to live a life with him, but Kexing feels like it's just too late. I really connected with him in this moment, him lamenting reminds me a lot on queer people realizing they're queer and regretting that they didn't realize this part of themselves earlier in their life. They were playing the ED song that's about soulmates living a life together while Kexing is just completely distraught over feeling robbed of that, and it's like, damn that hurts LOL
