I am already relating to and wanting to hug and protect our sweet bean, Bocchi! This girl has big dreams but a major hurdle: SOCIAL ANXIETY.
I have a feeling this series is going to give me lots to talk about, lots of laughs, and a lot of heart - as we already have our girl working to break down barriers that have built up around her throughout her childhood! LET'S ROCK!

Ahhhh, that is SUCH a thing to point out - YES! It's so wild how interpersonal and public speaking hits people different - and there are some people that are naturally quiet, but put them on a stage performing and they LIGHT UP! I love you mentioning that!

2025-04-26 17:09:33 +0000 UTCI used to eb an absolute social butterfly but somewhere growing up I lost that. I developed crippling social anxiety. I could barely I retract with anyone. Couldn't enter a store or go a place I hadn't been before. But one thing I absolutely loved was public speaking. I couldn't talk to a person my age. But put me in front of a crowd and I bloomed open. All this to say. I get it.

It was unique getting the point of view from a schoolteacher for the first episode discussion, and the reaction was great. I also enjoyed meeting Bocchi's father, "Is that her brother then...oh that's her dad!" Bocchi's father is now an honorary Papabro Jr! Which makes him royalty if only for one episode and probably explains some of his wealth!
