Harry Potter - The Ancient Magic - Chapter 4 - Event.

[Chapter Size: 1800 Words.]
Third Person POV
Dursleys' House
...

...

Harry left the house, slamming the door forcefully. As he started walking away, he noticed that people were gathered on the street, mainly staring at the house he had just left, with slightly frightened expressions.

He didn't care about them and continued on his way, until someone called his attention, turning around to see a woman approaching, "Excuse me, young man." It was a reporter coming toward him. Harry tried to ignore her, but she approached him anyway. "Was there an earthquake in the house? Did something happen there, we heard tremors and an explosion of all the windows!" she said as the man filming behind her immediately pointed the camera at Harry.

"It doesn't matter." That was the boy's response to the woman, who was shocked while Harry no longer cared about her and moved on, leaving those people on the street behind. Leaving the cameraman quite stunned, while the woman stood agape at the rude child's response.

"Are we live?" She turned to her colleague.

He just gave a thumbs up, leaving her with a furrowed brow. "Well, as you can see, this boy is shaken after an explosion in his home. Let's see how his parents are at this moment," she said as she approached the house with all the windows shattered.

Harry just walked through the streets of that low neighborhood this morning, aimlessly and without purpose, just wanting to walk. He soon left the street where he lived and didn't stop, beginning to pass by various children who were going to school at that moment, chatting among themselves.

He didn't care as some noticed him only by his aura around him walking alone or with clothes suitable for school.

"Hey, isn't that the crybaby?" Someone suddenly called him.

Harry didn't even realize he was near his school at that moment as he walked, some students recognized him, mainly friends of Dudley, three of them, approaching Harry with a malicious smile.

"I almost didn't recognize him since he's without glasses." One student started laughing as he approached.

"Does he recognize us...?" Another student mocked.

"How many fingers are here, Potter?" Another boy said, showing the middle finger to Harry, expecting him to get it wrong, he no longer needed glasses after all, something had happened to his eyes after the change, so there was no need to use them.

"He's not responding... is he going to start crying?" A third student began to laugh.

"He's not going to tell mommy, is he? Oh, I forgot, you don't have a mommy!" They continued mocking Harry preventing him from continuing his way.

"I heard she was an alcoholic!" Another spoke, and would have continued if not interrupted by Harry himself.

"Can you guys shut up?" Harry spoke, tilting his head up as his eyes began to glow dangerously, much greener than usual.

"Hm?!" All three students were so stunned they took a few steps back in fear.

"What is this?!" One student laughed nervously, swallowing hard.

"You-you guys are scared of this runt?!" Another tried to laugh at his friends but still stuttered a bit.

"Look at him, he has a mean face! But that's nothing!" The third said, gaining some courage.

Then this same student approached Harry and was about to push him. Harry no longer cared about these brats and simply unleashed his magic again, making all three students feel their bodies lose control and fall to the ground one by one as if Harry had used a paralysis spell.

Harry simply walked past three fallen children unable to move while still conscious. The boy continued on his way.

He passed the school and didn't stop there, continuing walking. Harry had so many thoughts in his mind that he couldn't even organize all the information and questions, not to mention what he had felt at that moment. He wanted more answers, but knew they wouldn't come easy or fast, he would have to seek them out himself, but first, he needed to think a little more, reflect even more on everything that had happened and how he died in the Battle of Hogwarts over a year ago.

The city began to change, with the environment becoming greener as he left the streets of London and entered a forest, thinking that nature might be the best path for his current moment.

He continued walking through the forest calmly; he was not afraid of wild animals, the only things in these woods of England were foxes, hares, deer, badgers, and the most dangerous would be wild boars. Bears had been extinct since the medieval age in these lands, so that creature was not freely wandering the forests.

However, after finding a stream, Harry encountered an animal unlike anything he had seen so far. He stopped to drink some water, his throat a little tired from shouting at his aunt. It was at this moment, as he was looking at the reflection of his face in the small natural river, still trying to get used to his appearance and looking at his scar a bit more carefully, that he heard something moving on the other bank.

There were fallen pine foliage at the spot, and beneath them something began to stir, until finally the creature put its head out.

Harry was a bit surprised to see this creature; after all, it was a Niffler. This made Harry look without worrying about his current problems, while the creature seemed about to return to the leaves while digging the ground. Harry just observed the creature searching for something.

"If that's a Niffler, what it will find will be..." Harry murmured as the creature finally found something it was looking for, pulling a gold galleon from the ground and raising it joyfully.

He seemed immersed in his find, when he finally noticed Harry by the river, and quickly hid his coin behind him as if the child would try to steal it.

Harry just smiled; after all, he knew the nature of that little fellow well. The Niffler looked at him for a while and began to sniff the air, moving its head in the direction of Harry, inhaling even more air.

He left his coin aside for a while and approached Harry a bit surprised by this behavior, while continuously placing leaves over the coin and cautiously approaching Harry still sniffing him. It crossed the river and came up to him, sniffing his clothes curiously.

"What's up with you, little friend? I thought you were skittish, I've met many of you where the only way to catch you was through traps with coins..." Harry couldn't help but comment, approaching as naturally as going up to the creature's head and petting it at that moment.

The animal did not seem averse to Harry's touch, on the contrary, it enjoyed it and closed its eyes, showing pleasure from the touch.

"How odd... but alright..." Harry didn't dislike it, at least there was something that made him forget his temporary problems at the moment.

Meanwhile, leaving that forest, tonight was not just a surreal situation for Privet Drive; after all, strange phenomena began to appear all over the magical world that night.

In Scotland, a man ran out of his house as he saw the dark sky being lit up by dragons that began to roar and breathe fire through the air. The nearby woods caught fire.

"What's happening?" he wondered as he scratched his head, a bit scared by that, wondering why the dragons were reacting that way, he grabbed his cane and immediately went to calm the dragons, after all, he took care of them.

And it wasn't just that. The entire world felt a certain change as magical creatures and even people more sensitive to magic noticed that something was happening, seeking answers, but nothing was found.

Even the event that happened on Privet Drive could not be highlighted among so many changes in various places, leaving the location considered just another with strange phenomena, with no one paying much attention, even though the origin probably came from that place.

Back in England, in a part where a dark forest spanned miles of extension, the same could be said of the creatures that inhabit that place.

"Hey, what's happening?" spoke a centaur in the middle of the Black Forest, watching the forest react to a phenomenon as a storm began to form in the sky that night. All the creatures, even the most obscure of that place, seemed agitated, and although the centaurs also felt a change in the air, they could not tell what it was or what it meant.

In the giant castle nearby, a phoenix was the first to sense something, spreading its wings while emitting a sound. The old man nearby, who was writing in his book, was surprised by this.

"What is it, Fawkes?" he asked, but soon felt the magical change in the atmosphere.

He looked forward trying to discern what it was, "What is this?! How is this possible?" he wondered and turned back to his phoenix. "Do you know what this is?" He asked, but his phoenix made a sound indicating it knew as little as he did.

"What does this mean... where is this coming from...?" He asked as he stood up and approached the window. There was a storm happening at that moment in Hogwarts, while Headmaster Albus could only watch the lightning striking outside.

The scene shifted, going to the castle's ground floor, through the corridors and stones, entering the underground hallways and descending further and further, past countless stones, going down several meters until it reached a large space like a gigantic chamber below even the Black Lake that bordered the castle.

There, remnants of an ancient battle lay, a battle that determined the path of the magical world when it occurred. It was a forgotten battle; they only remember it as the Rebellion of Ranrok, but nobody knows exactly what happened at that time since the real information had been hidden from the world.

There was a skeleton a bit out from the stones, no more than a 15-year-old boy by bone size. Sadly, he died in the fight as an unremembered hero of that era. There was no mention of him in the newspapers, no celebration; his name was just among the victims of that battle, a name that had been forgotten by time.

In front of his bones, there was a large pile of stones, seemingly ordinary at first. But something changed at that moment, as all the crevices in the stones began to glow red, as if something alive was still there, and it began to glow like a heart beating.
