Harry Potter - The Ancient Magic - Chapter 3 - Anger 02.

[Chapter Size: 2200 Words.]
Third Person POV
Dursleys' House
...

...

"I will not do that."

It was only after saying this phrase that everything changed instantly in the room. Vernon looked at Harry as if a second head had sprouted from him, noticing that the boy was now staring back defiantly, even foregoing his usual glasses as his eyes glowed an unusual color. However, he did not care about that; what he cared about was the refusal from that aberration.

"No?!" He repeated, raising his voice and staring at him. "What did you say, you little brat?" He narrowed his eyes, wondering why this boy was denying his order, something that had never happened before.

"I am saying that I will not do it," Harry spoke calmly, maintaining eye contact with his uncle.

"Listen here, you freak," Vernon began walking toward the boy, grabbing him by the clothes under his neck, while Harry just looked at him, seemingly unfazed by his uncle's aggressive behavior. "Say that to my face, challenge me again," he continued, "and I swear I will make you regret it." His voice indicated he was not joking with the threat.

"What's going on?" Dudley appeared at the stairs next to his mother, while Petunia stretched her neck as much as she could, looking at Vernon grabbing Harry. She was shocked after hearing the conversation and Harry's challenge, wondering what was happening.

"Let me go, Uncle," Harry spoke, not responding to Vernon's question, while he looked at the hand holding his clothes. "Let me go, or something bad will happen to you," he said, and Vernon, consumed by rage from what he heard, began to tighten his grip on the clothes, trying to lift the boy.

"I will give you a beating!" He exclaimed.

"So be it." Harry murmured into the air and simply let his magic expand from his body. As he did not have a wand, he could not be precise with his magical energy in casting spells, but he could certainly use uncontrolled magic.

To Harry, magic is like water being poured from a funnel into another bottle, with the magic being the water, the funnel being the wand that filters the water and keeps it from falling out, while the water inside the bottle is the result of the spell. Without the funnel, the water is dispensed and the result is lesser, with less water entering, but that did not mean he could not have water inside the bottle without the funnel.

Harry then used his uncontrolled magic, emanating from his body without a conduit, which would be his wand. Vernon simply felt his body flying backwards and, before he could wonder what was happening, he crashed against the wall with the sound of the wood cracking as he fell to the floor, rolling.

"Vernon!" Petunia, seeing this, quickly ran to him, descending the stairs and passing by the broken glass frames.

"DAD!! Are you okay?" Dudley exclaimed, startled while standing above the stairs, looking down at everything and scared.

Vernon was rolled by his wife, moaning and feeling a strong pain throughout his body. He tried to get up.

Petunia stopped looking at Vernon and turned to Harry, trembling. "What did you do?" she exclaimed, frightened.

Harry sighed as he was already on the ground looking at the result of his magic, even the wall of his room under the stairs was all cracked from the force of the magic he used against his uncle. He honestly did not want to do something like that, after all, using magic on people who could not defend themselves was quite unfair and cowardly in his opinion, even for him who even used unforgivable curses in his days of glory. However, his uncles were not much different from that, torturing a child. Then he quickly forgot that thought and looked at his aunt.

"You know very well what I did," he said, leaving the woman with wide eyes.

"You can't be, you just can't!" she murmured, seeming incredulous and unwilling to believe it.

"What did you do, you freak?" Vernon spoke again as he finished standing up despite the pain, and, without giving time before anyone could react, he simply lunged at Harry. He wanted to grab him and rub his face on the ground after what had happened.

Even as a child with magic, it would be difficult for a 10-year-old boy to handle an enraged adult like his uncle, who was not small. But for Harry, he saw this, and the 10-year-old simply raised his hand as a strange electricity began to run through it.

Vernon hadn't taken 10 steps when he saw Harry create lightning in his hand, and he couldn't react before it was fired at him. The man was hit by the electric force, it coursing through his body, and he stopped the next moment, beginning to convulse rapidly as he felt the shock in his body, his muscles all numbing while he screamed dazedly.

Harry watched him slowly falling; he hadn't fired a powerful discharge, trying to keep control of the spell without using a wand, but enough to scare the man.

"AHHHH!!!" Petunia screamed in fright when she saw her husband kneel, while some bands ran through his body every second and his hair was all standing up. Harry just looked at him, not moving from the spot since he got out of his uncle's grip.

"You may have abused me until yesterday, but that will no longer happen," Harry finally commented, looking at his uncle and aunt.

Petunia was terrified, seeing that Harry was like her sister. No, Lily had never been able to do things like this, not at 10 years old. Harry watched as his aunt trembled more than before, and decided to speak.

"Listen well, I don't know what I'm going to do, honestly," Harry began. "Maybe I should leave this house since I am a freak to you." He said, seeing no more reason to stay there, if his life were different from the past, he wouldn't need to wait until 15 to go to Hogwarts, so he would have to wait another year and he could manage.

"No, you can't," Petunia suddenly said.

Harry narrowed his eyes at that. "Why? Wait a minute," Harry realized something at that moment. "This is strange. You always treated me like unwanted trash, but still, you kept me. What are you hiding?" Harry began walking toward her with a fierce look wanting immediate answers to his mysterious life without countless answers.

Harry passed by Vernon angrily, Petunia left Vernon aside and looked at the boy approaching, and she was scared of this child, she began to walk backward, looking at the child who could also perform magic, stunned.

"No, this can't be happening," she spoke as if imagining herself in a nightmare, seeing Harry doing all that.

"Tell me exactly why you kept me," Harry spoke again, raising his voice slightly, since this woman was not answering him, while he walked toward the woman.

"Mum!" Dudley came running down the stairs, while grabbing his mother, at another time, Harry would have been quite impressed with Dudley going to the rescue of his mother in certain danger, but he didn't care about that at the moment. He wanted answers and he still looked at her taking each step toward her with more anger.

"No, you can't use magic! It shouldn't be like this!" She continued speaking in delirium.

"Tell me exactly why you kept me in this house!" Harry exploded, shouting, as the house began to tremble again with the anger he had towards his aunt reaching another level.

"Mum, make him stop!" Dudley screamed, terrified and scared.

Vernon, still electrocuted and feeling his whole body in that state, gritted his teeth while making all the effort he could to move his body and he managed to get up with so much anger that he somehow managed to move, he saw Harry making the house tremble, behind the boy's back and charged ready to end this boy.

Harry hardly breathed, already sensing his uncle approaching, seeing that this guy wouldn't give up and still taken by anger waiting for his aunt to answer him, he simply raised his hand and Vernon, who believed he would finally catch this brat by surprise, once again flew, but even further and stronger, flying directly into the kitchen, breaking the table with all the dishes falling with all the sound of things breaking, knocked out on the spot, while the house continued to tremble with Harry not taking his eyes off his aunt.

"Tell me now," Harry said while his eyes glowed. He no longer wore glasses, but to Petunia, that change didn't even seem important at this moment, with everything that was happening.

"Stop, please," she finally began to falter. "I'll tell! A wizard made a deal with us as long as we kept you here. He... he would compensate us," she stammered.

"A wizard asked for me to be kept with you?" Harry commented, even though he finally got his answer, his anger seemed to increase even more, but this time it wasn't directed at his Muggle family, but rather at wanting to know who this wizard was.

"Who?" Harry said, and the house seemed to tremble even more. Petunia crouched on the ground while holding her trembling son.

"I don't know," she no longer even had the courage to look at Harry with so much fear she felt at that moment. "I don't know!" She repeated.

Harry found this strange and, even though he didn't know much about the arts of the mind, surely trying to see if a Muggle was lying or not wouldn't be difficult. He quickly saw through his aunt's mind on the surface and saw that she was telling the truth; however, it was certainly a case where the memory was erased, that is, this wizard did not want to leave a trace.

Harry, still angry, made the house stop trembling a bit... Since he was thoughtful, but still angry at whoever was behind this.

"This wizard knew you treated me like this," Harry began to murmur. "Why would he do that? Why do I have this scar with death magic, the absence of my parents, and the accident? Wait," he said, looking at Petunia again for new answers. "How did my parents die?" he asked suddenly with an intense look.

"We've told you, they were drunks and it was a car accident..." She didn't even have time to finish, before Harry's anger reached a new level.

"Tell me the truth!" He shouted again and all the windows in the house burst at that moment.

"AHHHH!!!"

"AHHHH!!!!"

Petunia and Dudley screamed as they heard the sound of glass bursting throughout the house. Dudley was crying, clinging to his mother while Petunia trembled more than ever.

She looked at him at that moment, "No, they didn't die because of that," she finally admitted, trembling. After all, she had always deep down had a great envy of her sister being a witch and she not. This feeling was so strong that it reached the point of her convincing herself that Lily and her husband were unemployed vagrants, rather than anything else.

"Then tell me," Harry spoke once again, calmer, while the house was already a mess.

"I'm not sure, I know they died, it seems that a wizard killed them, then you were left with us, with someone bringing you to our doorstep. Months later, as we tried to find an orphanage for you to stay, that wizard came, but I don't remember anything else!!" she finally admitted.

Harry nodded with a sigh, since she knew very little, after all, she was telling the truth this time. Harry let his anger disappear and the house began to calm down, until everything stopped, while Vernon was still around all that mess in the kitchen and Petunia holding a crying Dudley.

Harry asked his aunt one more question, "I don't know who this wizard is, but I want to know when he will come here again," Harry said, seeking more answers, but Petunia just shook her head at him.

"He hasn't come for more than 3 years. I highly doubt he will show up," she said.

Harry thought for a while, then turned back to his aunt. "I'm going for a walk, thinking about everything that has happened. As you know, I don't go to school and don't bother me all day, and I don't even know if I'll come back here, in case I don't return, don't try to find me and I don't care what kind of deal you made with that wizard." Harry said in a much calmer tone. Then, without saying anything else, he turned and went to the exit door, opening it and disappearing into the morning.

Raccoon here:

I ended up making up that analogy with magic and wand, using water, funnel, and result, I hope it was understandable with what I wanted to say in that paragraph.
