Hawks sketch dump

Surprisingly I really didn't draw almost at all during my short break, a lot of things ended up happening (apartment inspection, ultrasounds, bloodwork and work) and the only thing I managed to finish was these Hawks sketches. The top one is heavily referenced from this [link] and the rest was just me trying to experiment with how I draw his face. Also attached the timelapse of drawing these down below. β¬οΈ
I'm not going to sit here and pretend that everything is fine again with me or my art, I still have a lot of soul searching to do and a lot damaging habits & obsession surrounding art can't be cured over night let alone in 2 weeks but I am giving myself some grace (not the religious kind) and let myself heal.
But regardless of that the show must go on and I'd like to still attempt to design the Patreon gift merch and see how the situation unfolds with the USA shipping. Least worst case the merch shipping out will be delayed, and the worst worst case is that I have to remove the tier option and replace it with something else.

2025-09-16 21:11:51 +0000 UTCSometimes it's easier to draw things you already love a lot so Hawks sometimes is an easier place for me to start. Although thanks to this study sketching session I did realize that on some of my older art I have drawn Hawks with too big a nose and too long a face xD
